David Title, Ed.D.
David currently is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Previously he was the Superintendent of Schools in Fairfield.
Prior to coming to Fairfield, Dr. Title served as Superintendent of Schools in Bloomfield and was Assistant Superintendent of Schools in Waterford (CT). He began his career as the assistant principal at Somers High School and a history teacher at East Granby High School and Longmeadow High School (CT).
As Assistant Superintendent in Waterford he facilitated the district’s first Strategic Plan in 1994. He served as internal coordinator for 8 years and facilitated all Site Plans for the school district. In Bloomfield, he initiated the Strategic Planning Process. He has taught in numerous Strategic Planning training programs specializing in Action Planning and Action Team work. He edited the latest version of the Cambrian Action Team Leader’s Guide. He has worked with clients in several school districts in New York state.
Dr. Title earned his Doctorate in Educational Administration from Harvard University and a
Master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Dartmouth College, where he majored in History.
He is married to Laurie and has four children and two poodles.
