Steven Ebell, Ed.D.

Steven Ebell has served in Texas public schools for 30 years and has been actively engaged in strategic planning for over 15 years. He was trained in strategic planning in 2004 and has served as an internal facilitator for four school district strategic plans and facilitated multiple campus level strategic plans in a variety of school districts. 
 

Dr. Ebell currently serves as Deputy Superintendent in the Clear Creek Independent School District. Clear Creek ISD is a high-performing, suburban district outside of Houston, Texas, with over 42,000 students and 45 schools. The depth of strategic alignment in Clear Creek ISD is based on a two-year process to develop the district strategic plan and then create aligned campus strategic plans at each school site.
 

Prior to serving as Deputy Superintendent in Clear Creek ISD, Dr. Ebell was Superintendent of Schools in Gonzales ISD, Assistant Superintendent in Eanes ISD and Hays CISD. He has also served as a middle school principal, elementary school assistant principal, and elementary special education teacher.

Dr. Ebell holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Texas State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas at Austin.
 

Dr. Ebell is active in the Clear Creek community serving in a variety of community positions including Board member for the Clear Creek Education Foundation, Deacon of University Baptist Church, Parent Teacher Associations, and school booster clubs.
 

Dr. Ebell, his wife Jennifer, and two children live in Houston, Texas.
